Language, Culture, and History: Cultural Awareness and the Road to Civil Rights

Course Date: Saturday, November 9. Register by November 4.

10:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. plus 2-hr. pre- and 2-hr. post-assignments for a total of 15 contact hours. Transportation is provided by train.

Language, Culture, and History: Cultural Awareness and the Road to Civil Rights is a one-day intensive language and culture immersion course that will be running on the 9th of November. This one-day field trip/course is a unique and FUN opportunity to learn and practice English. The course is perfect for those who need to complete certain number of course hours or would like to spend a fun and educational day in Greensboro learning about language, culture, and the Civil Rights Movement in the United States.

The course is limited to 20 students and registration is first-come, first-served.

Tuition is $160, which includes instruction, transportation (train), and museum ticket/tour fee. Students can register in person or by faxing the registration form to 919-536-7277 by November 4, 2019. The course number is 70002. Payment or payment authorization is required at the time of registration.

Bring your own lunch to eat on the train. There will be no dedicated lunchtime.
