Alert: Durham Tech classes and support services are currently offered online, due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Effective June 1, the College will expand access to some campus locations for urgent instruction or student services by approval only. Campuses will not be open to walk-in students or visitors.
Esthetician Technology Continuing Education
Upon successful completion of the course, Durham Tech students are eligible to register to take the state board exam with the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Arts Examiners.
Textbooks are covered in the cost of the registration fee. A student kit containing required materials is provided. Students are required to purchase a dark hunter green uniform and white, comfortable shoes.
Students must be able to speak, read, and write English because the class and the state exams are in English. Students who have not graduated from a US high school or if US English is not their first language must take the Accuplacer ESL Listening test instead of NCDAP. Learn more about the Accuplacer ESL Listening test.
