Construction notice: Several parking lots will be repaved on Main Campus beginning Monday, July 12. Please use lots D and F for parking.
The College will delay Thursday, January 28, in-person operations at all campus locations until 11 a.m. due to forecasts of inclement weather.
Online courses will meet as scheduled. Public Safety courses, including BLET training, Fire Academy training, EMS, and in-service law enforcement training will meet as scheduled unless otherwise communicated by the appropriate program director. Health program clinicals or work-based learning activities located at facilities off-campus will meet as scheduled and as appropriate under the inclement weather guidelines for the off-campus clinical facility or work-based setting.
All other in-person instruction or activities that occur prior to 11 a.m. on all campuses will be cancelled. Instructors will notify students of the plan to make up instruction (e.g., meet on official make-up date, provide web-based instruction, add time to remaining class meetings, assign an independent activity or assignment, or condense course material). For other activities, College personnel will notify attendees of alternate arrangements.
The College will continue monitoring and assessing weather forecasts and an additional update regarding Thursday operations will be communicated early Thursday morning. At this time, classes and activities at all campuses will resume normal operations at 11 a.m. unless otherwise communicated in the morning.
Weather updates and announcements will be posted on the College website, our social media accounts, and via news outlets. For employees traveling to and from campus locations, please monitor forecasts and check the College website for updates.
In December, the College revised the Inclement Weather Procedure to include three color-coded word indicators to indicate current operations at each campus location.
