Enrollment Steps for Visiting Students
The state requires students to submit evidence of residency status when completing a college application. Students should use the Residency Determination Service (RDS) to complete a determination.
Complete the Enrollment Application (necessary to be assigned a student number.) On the CFNC Application, select the Visiting Student Post Baccalaureate choice in the drop down box. Note that these students are not eligible for financial aid.
Submit official transcripts from your college(s) by the following dates, for registration:
- March 15 for summer classes
- June 15 for fall classes
- October 15 for spring classes
Meet with an advisor for new and visiting students.
Visit the Advising Services Office on Main Campus or at the Orange County Campus. View hours.
New students will be assigned to a faculty advisor when classes begin.
Online advising is available for new and visiting students with 12 or more credits and continuing, admitted students with 17 or more credits. You must meet with an advisor every semester to register for classes.
