Academic Credit for Professional Credentials
Academic credit may be given for adequately documented and validated industry-recognized credentials. View the procedure to request Academic Credit for Professional Credentials.
Students may be granted credit for courses if they have attained an industry certification exam with comparable learning outcomes. View the list of eligible courses and credentials:
- Information Technology
- Criminal Justice
- Fire Protection Technology and Emergency Management
- LPN to ADN Program Track
To receive consideration for credit based on certification completion, students must present documentation in the form of a letter, transcript, or certificate to Admissions, Registration, and Records showing they passed and were awarded the certification.
